OMG!!!! Henry Cavill!!

In between writing, reading some great books and prepping to go on vacation in about a week... the first pictures of the Immortals came out this past weekend.

This movie doesn't come out until next year, but i've been a sucker for Greek Mythology since college and Theseus is one of my all time favorite characters.

One of my favorite actors is Henry Cavill, who plays Charles Brandon in the Tudors, well here's everyone's first look at him as Greek warrior Theseus in the Immortals.

The films also stars Mickey Rourke, Stephen Dorff and another favorite of mine, Slumdog Millionaire's Freida Pinto.

Enjoy!!! Is it 2011 yet?

Saturday Night Pick Me Up!

Work and Real Life lately have been quite hectic for me lately.

But what always seems to make me feel a bit better is a little music, and a lot of writing.

Mail Order Groom is coming along very well. Before I work on it a bit more this evening, I'd like to introduce you to Yuri.

Nik's Best Friend and as close to a brother to him as one could be.

I wrote a good great deal about him and how his actions pull Nik's into one of the craziest situations he'll ever be in.

Enjoy the Pick me up!

What gets your attention?

I haven't been online that much have been writing a lot. (I have to update my word counts in fact so that all of you can see my progress, i've been too lazy to do that).

The other day, when talking to one of my Crit Partners over the phone like we always to and we were commenting on capturing aka "hooking" your reader's attention.

For readers, can a hook turn you off? Or does it make you want to continue reading?

For writers, when do you use hook or a cliffhanger? At the end of the chapter? The beginning?

I think it's good to do at different point of a story and it depends on the plot, but what does everyone else think?
